Our mission

The Massawippi Vallee Foundation (FVM) promotes and financially supports healthcare services in the Massawippi Valley and beyond. FVM identifies the healthcare needs of the citizens of the Eastern Townships and organizes solutions and partnerships to achieve these goals.

Our achievements

Since 2014, the Foundation has raised more than $1,000,000 to help improve the lives of thousands of residents in the Massawippi Valley and beyond. Our plan is to open a clinic in Lennoxville in 2024 and offer our services to the community. Once this clinic is up and running, the Foundation plans to open a clinic in North Hatley in 2025. Other clinics, like the one in Compton, will open over the next three to four years.

Did you know…

We plan to open a satellite clinic of the CSVM in Lennoxville in 2024 to offer our services to a wider community. Once this clinic is operational, the Foundation plans to open a clinic in North Hatley in 2025, once a site has been found and renovated. Other clinics will open in the Massawippi Valley over the next three to four years.

Initiative for seniors

In November 2019, FVM opened a Wellness Center to expand and consolidate a series of programs for seniors including a social café where individuals gather once a month to learn new concepts in healthy cooking, technology, medical access, games and chat. We managed various Canadian government programs – Stay Safe, Get Connected, By Seniors for Seniors and Healthy Aging Close to Home – which were delivered by a team of volunteers to over 80 seniors during the pandemic.

Next fundraising event

Our annual gala at Hovey Manor will take place on Friday, November 10, 2023. The theme is: Making a difference in our community. We are pleased to welcome Christiane Germain, co-founder and co-president of Germain Hotels, as our guest speaker. To purchase tickets or for more information, please contact:
